North Berwick Fry

Best hot fresh chips I've had in years, fish was nice & lightly battered. Food was a bit expensive but portion size was good. Staff were friendly & polite.

Had the soul of street food. It’s not a sanitized dining experience for tourists. It’s just a fast and fresh fry joint. If I wanted a fancy sit down meal I’d go somewhere else. For what it is it’s fantastic. Would highly recommend for a quick bite!

Best bags of chips I've had in a long time. Loads of salt n vinegar too, perfection! Big friendly welcome too after being out at sea, hungry and cold.

Popped in at lunch time today and ordered some chips. Great portion size but pretty poor to be honest. I may be wrong but the chips didn’t seem fresh cut chips. They had the shape of frozen chips. All a bit crunchy. To me, they were not “chippy chips”. Guy who served was really friendly and it’s in a great spot, so potential is there.

Stopped here for a quick meal while visiting North Berwick and sat outside with my dog. I had fried pizza and chips while my companion had fried chicken and chips. Service was friendly and straightforward, and the food was decent enough for a casual seaside lunch. Convenient stop if you want something simple near the seafront.

We had friends visiting and they wanted to try Fish and Chips and so we chose here, my great aunt is a huge fan too! But this was my first time and I have to say I'm smitten! Food cooked to order, really fresh and the lightest batter I have ever had. Chatty friendly family at the counter, I'll come again.
